Living in their Naperville home for 15 years, this couple had finally saved enough for their dream kitchen. Their old kitchen was small and lacked storage space. Entertaining was a challenge and food prep was limited.
The goal for the new kitchen? To create a place with room to play that would stand the test of time.
The project began by opening the space between the eating area & kitchen. With an open floor plan there was more room to create. Enlarging the upper cabinets, adding a center island and a custom hutch made room for plenty of storage.
Classic warm browns and neutrals set the perfect backdrop, welcoming you home at the end of the day. The contrasting granite counter, and farmhouse sink, add just the right accent to the cabinets. A granite island creates plenty of room for food prep, as well as more space to gather.
The custom hutch adds the perfect home for a TV and additional storage. Unique tile backsplash brings the granite and cabinets together. Next to the bay window, the breakfast nook is an ideal space to start the day with a cup of coffee.
Trends in home remodeling come and go, but some designs are timeless. Sue & Ray’s kitchen was created to stand the test of time. A warm and welcoming space with plenty of room for family and friends.
