With the changing seasons comes thoughts of holidays. Fall leaves, cooler temps, and planning for time together with friends and family. It also makes many of us realize our homes aren’t quite holiday ready. Lacking space in their kitchen, this client knew it was time for an upgrade. They turned to Lellbach Builders to bring their kitchen remodel ideas to life!
The first challenge was elbow room. They needed more space for food prep, and for people to gather. They also wanted a little extra space to just relax over dinner. The solution? To shorten the wall between the kitchen and living room. With a little expert design help, they were able to create separate but open spaces.
With the wall removed, it was time to upgrade the space!
The kitchen, with an adjacent eating area, incorporates soft grey cabinets with brushed chrome accents. Warm brown pre-finished wood floors cover the entire open space, including the kitchen and dining areas. The navy-blue island and dark blue Cambria counter tops add a pop of color and interest.
Flanking the painted fireplace, a bar and butler’s pantry provide display and storage space. With easy access for serving guests, the area also serves as a focal point for the dining room.
Warm and neutral materials created the perfect living environment, inviting guests in for a visit. With ample counter space and more room to move about, this family is ready for the holidays!
